Cases were initiated in Greene County magistrate court during the week ending March 3 as follows: Dylan Mikul Casali of Grand Junction, criminal mischief-fifth degree; Nicole Andrea Murphy of Jefferson, violation of protective order- aiding and abetting; Steven Logan Dzuris of Jefferson, obstruction of emergency communication; and Heather Thelma Erwin of Jefferson, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending March 3 as follows: Blake William Renwanz of Jefferson dark window/windshield, $50; and Scott Michael Tanner of Nevada and Stacy Michelle Stream and Donald Dean Zuehl, both of Jefferson, operating non-registered vehicle, $50.
Also, speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Steven Daniel Merrick of Carroll, Donna Mary Jean Barto of Marion, SD, Gail Mark Christiansen of Portsmouth, and Mark Phillip Hoyle of Churdan.
Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Gerald Lee Remster of Des Moines, Heidi Melissa Slechta of Kiron, and Spencer Lee Burley of Jefferson.
Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Jenifer E. Sturek of Omaha, NE, and Seth Allen Blumberg of Grand Junction, speed, $20; Nathan Allen Taylor Martin of Carroll, operation without registration card or plate, $50; Anthony Michael Hansen of Hornick, speed, $40; and Joseph Ross Jabaay of Jefferson, restriction on game – early or late shooting, $25, and no deer license or tag, $25.
The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.
Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
